Position Summary

Catalent Pharma Solutions is hiring a Business Development Specialist to join our team. This role is a key member of the Clinical Supply US BD team, focused on exceeding sales targets and driving growth.

With facilities across the US, EU, and Asia/Pacific, and over 50 depots worldwide, Catalent Clinical Supply offers flexible, integrated services for pharmaceutical and biotech companies, providing expertise in global supply chain and clinical supply management to accelerate drug development.

The Role
  • Assist with lead generation and prospecting in North America - West
  • Engage with customers to present capabilities, understand needs, and develop proposals
  • Complete proposal requests (QIFs) and collaborate with client services, operations, and project management to develop accurate quotations
  • Support the US BD team during absences (PTO, travel)
  • Participate in and plan trade shows
  • Incorporate Business Intelligence into territory planning
  • Handle administrative tasks (QIFs, onboarding, quote reviews)
  • Perform other duties as assigned
The Candidate
  • High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years in prospecting, lead generation, sales, B2B relationships, or related fields
  • Excellent multitasking, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce.com and ClinicalTrials.gov is a plus
  • Knowledge of clinical trials and related industries is preferred
  • Based in the US/EU/UK, within 50 miles of a Catalent facility; ability to work remotely
