ABOUT HGO:

Are you a confident closer who loves networking, building relationships, and turning leads into loyal clients? We're looking for a high-performing Business Development & Sales Representative to join our growing team!

HGO is a female-owned professional organizing and interior design company, based in Austin, that works with residential and commercial spaces to create long-term organizing solutions for clients and help them reduce day-to-day stress. We simplify spaces, create sustainable systems, and ensure every item has a home.

HGO mainly serves Austin and Houston, Texas, and provides in-person and virtual organizing and design services.

Section I: PURPOSE

To support the growth of Hannah Goetz Organizing by promoting and selling the company’s services to potential clients.

Section II: ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESLead Generation & Prospecting:

  • Source new clients through online platforms, social media, networking events, and partnerships
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads who match our ideal client profile

Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Collaborate with the Founder to implement an effective sales and business development plan
  • In charge of scheduling or conducting sales meetings and administering new contracts
  • Help develop tailored pitches, sales decks, and proposals for potential clients

Client Engagement & Deal Closing:

  • Lead discovery calls, consultations, and follow-ups with potential clients
  • Manage the full sales cycle through to signed contracts

Market Research & Industry Awareness:

  • Stay informed on interior design and professional organization trends, competitor offerings, and pricing structures
  • Provide insights that influence our service offerings and positioning

Reporting & Accountability:

  • Join weekly check-ins to review pipeline activity and goals
  • Submit monthly reports tracking KPIs like conversion rates, ROI on marketing efforts, and overall performance
  • Use sales analytics to refine approach and share feedback for continuous improvement

Section III: QUALIFICATIONS

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communication, or related field preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Docs
  • Skilled in CRM tools, social selling, and client relationship management
  • Previous experience in client management, business development, or previous sales role
  • Passion for home organization, interior design, and sales
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work with a team and strong interpersonal skills
  • A self-motivated, goal-oriented sales professional
  • Strong communicator with experience selling services (design, luxury, or home services a plus)
  • Comfortable working independently and hitting performance benchmarks

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Previous experience in interior design, professional organizing, or real estate industries
  • Existing network of potential clients in the home, commercial, or lifestyle sectors
  • A good eye for aesthetics and design sensibility to speak confidently about our services

Section IV: TERMS

This is a 1099 contractor position. Commission-Based: 20% of outbound lead generation and closing.
