Position Overview

Based in Texas, we are a growing international electronics services provider / partner. The Business Development Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding the company's market presence in the electronics manufacturing sector. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and enhancing client relations to achieve sales targets.

  • This is a remote position with travel to Dallas and customer sites - hunter role.
  • We are open to candidates outside of electronics manufacturing that have a hunger for new business development and building out markets from scratch!
  • Industries include selling to: Life Science, Aerospace, MedTech, Environment, Smart Infrastructure, Industrial Automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the electronics manufacturing industry.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for product development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to align offerings with market needs.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning.
  • Lead presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
  • Track sales performance metrics and report on progress to management.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in sales and NEW business development in engineering or manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of product development processes and market analysis.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales and relationship management.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop strategic plans and execute them effectively.
  • Experience in cost reduction strategies and achieving sales targets.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
