Job summary

Concurrent Real-Time (CCRT), an HBK Company, is seeking a Business Development Representative - Inside Sales to join our Sales team. You will hunt new opportunities for CCRT's deterministic, real-time computing solutions and build the early pipeline through research and outbound prospecting.

You’ll collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, and Strategy, working toward a career path into Field Sales Engineer or Application Engineer roles as you gain market knowledge and results.

Business Development Representative — Inside Sales
The Position

We are currently looking for a Business Development Representative - Inside Sales to join our Sales team at Concurrent Real-Time (CCRT), an HBK Company. Our new Business Development Representative will be responsible for hunting new business opportunities for CCRT's deterministic, hard real-time computing solutions. A high dependency on researching and engaging new accounts, applications, and programs that haven't worked with CCRT before. This role works across multiple functions, partnering with Field Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and our Strategy team to identify promising markets, sharpen messaging, and turn research into qualified pipeline. You form the front end of our sales process by finding and qualifying new opportunities for the broader team to develop further. This is an entry-level role with a genuine path to grow into a Field Sales Engineer or Application Engineer position as you build market knowledge, technical fluency, and a track record of results.

Primary responsibilities

You will be working with/responsible for identifying and creating new business opportunities through independent research and outbound prospecting. Your daily work includes:

  • Researching and identifying new target accounts, industries, and applications for CCRT's real-time computing solutions
  • Prospecting for new business through LinkedIn, market research, and other lead-generation channels
  • Using CCRT case studies and white papers or helping develop new ones to introduce our capabilities to new audiences
  • Making consistent, persistent outbound contact with prospects and following up methodically, even through a high volume of no-response or declined outreach
  • Qualifying leads and coordinating warm hand-offs to Field Sales Engineers and Application Engineers
  • Partnering with Marketing, Product Management, and Strategy to identify new target markets, sharpen positioning, and turn research into outreach content
  • Feeding back what you learn from the field such as competitor activity, pricing objections, and market shifts to Sales Leadership, Product Management and Strategy team.
  • Representing CCRT at industry events and trade shows, including working the booth, to build pipeline and expand our network
  • Maintaining accurate records of prospecting activity and pipeline status in the CRM
  • Staying current on industry trends and target markets through independent research and self-directed learning
Professional qualifications

You hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or have equivalent work experience. This is an entry-level position — 0-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation is helpful but not required. What matters most is your drive to learn, your research skills, and your persistence through a long sales cycle.

  • Creative problem-solver, able to develop new approaches to reaching and engaging prospects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with CRM and prospecting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar) is a plus
Sponsorship

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and will not now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa. Due to the nature of CCRT's work supporting U.S. government and defense programs, this position requires U.S. Citizenship.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000 annually plus 25% bonus. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as physical work location within the state.
