Job description

Seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Mid-level Business Development Representative to join our energetic team. In this quota-carrying role, you will be instrumental in driving our annual growth by actively prospecting and acquiring new business and partnership relationships. You will also represent the brands at key industry events nationwide, serving as a crucial link to the Revenue Operations (RevOps) team by providing valuable market insights and data to inform our growth strategy. Collaborating closely with RevOps, you will contribute to the development of strategic marketing plans and ensure sales goals are achieved. A deep understanding of our products and services, coupled with the ability to grasp client business needs, will be essential to effectively position solutions for both new and existing clients. Your contributions will be a vital component of our success in expanding our clientele and strengthening our market presence.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Execution: Actively engage in inside and outside sales activities, including cold calling, emailing, and face-to-face client meetings.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
  • Sales Presentations: Develop and deliver engaging presentations that effectively showcase DL Marketing's services to potential clients.
  • Client Acquisition and Retention: Focus on acquiring new clients while maintaining relationships with existing ones, ensuring a strong pipeline of engagements.
  • Business Development: Collaborate with the RevOps team to identify possible partnerships and to build a referral and reseller network.
  • Tradeshows & Events: Attend industry specific tradeshows and conferences as well as collaborate with the RevOps team to conceptualize and organize branded or hosted events.
  • Performance Tracking: Regularly track sales activities and provide reports on progress towards sales targets.
  • Collaborative Work: Work closely with the RevOps team to understand and promote the company's services accurately and effectively.
  • Feedback and Strategy: Provide feedback from clients to enhance service delivery and contribute to strategy discussions.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
  1. Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of sales experience, preferably in advertising or digital marketing.
  2. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to persuasively convey our services to potential clients.
  3. Skilled in identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities both inside and outside the organization.
  4. Adept at building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
  5. Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  6. Strong negotiation skills with a knack for closing deals effectively.
  7. Proficiency in advertising, digital marketing, analytics, Return-on-Investment modelling, CRM software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  8. When faced with a problem or obstacle, instead of just reporting or escalating, one should demonstrate initiative by evaluating multiple solutions and taking the correct course of action.

Compensation:$36k- $48k+Commission
