Job summary

• Minimum 3 years of B2B sales in the commercial painting industry.
• Experience conducting client discovery, measuring buildings, developing scopes, and writing commercial painting proposals.
• Proven ability to generate, develop, and close new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new commercial painting and facility maintenance opportunities.
• Build relationships with general contractors, property managers, facility managers, and key decision-makers.
• Conduct client discovery meetings to understand project needs and objectives.
• Visit job sites, measure buildings, evaluate project requirements, and develop scopes of work.
• Prepare and present proposals for commercial painting projects.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract award.
• Partner with Operations and Pre-Construction on pricing, project strategy, and customer solutions.
• Represent HCC at industry events, networking functions, and customer meetings.
• Track pipeline activity, opportunities, and revenue performance.

Harrison Contracting Company (HCC) is a growing commercial painting contractor known for Reliability, Experience, and Diligence. We are seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to expand our market presence, build client relationships, and generate new business opportunities throughout our service areas.

We are looking for someone with business-to-business (B2B) sales experience in the commercial painting industry who understands how to identify opportunities, assess project needs, measure buildings, develop scopes of work, and prepare proposals.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of Business-to-Business (B2B) sales experience in the Commercial Painting industry
• Experience conducting client discovery, measuring buildings, developing scopes, and writing commercial painting proposals
• Proven ability to generate, develop, and close new business opportunities
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven
• Comfortable working in the field, at job sites, and in an office environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Paint Projex experience is a plus
