An early-stage AI software startup serving the real estate industry is hiring a Business Development Representative to join its growing go-to-market team.
The company builds AI-powered software that helps real estate organizations automate manual, repetitive work and operate more efficiently. Its technology fits into existing business processes and helps teams increase capacity without needing to proportionally increase headcount.
The company has early customer traction and is now investing in building a repeatable outbound sales motion. This role will play an important part in that effort by identifying prospective customers, starting conversations, and generating qualified opportunities for the team.
You will own a significant portion of the company's outbound prospecting efforts while working in person in San Francisco.
You’ll identify and engage prospective customers across channels including LinkedIn, email, phone, events, and other creative outbound strategies. You’ll primarily target decision-makers at real estate investment and operating companies and will be responsible for turning those conversations into qualified meetings for the senior team.
This is an early-stage environment, so you’ll have meaningful flexibility in determining which approaches work best. You’ll be expected to experiment with messaging, channels, and targeting rather than simply execute a rigid playbook.
The role has clear monthly meeting targets and a short ramp period, with strong performers having the opportunity to grow into a closing sales position.
You’ll have access to modern outbound tools, prospecting data, target account lists, messaging frameworks, and regular coaching from company leadership.
Two qualities matter most: relentlessness and eagerness to learn.
You don’t need years of traditional sales experience. The company is more interested in people who are driven, curious, comfortable with rejection, and capable of learning quickly.
