Brief Description

At Altimate Medical Holdings, Inc. (AMI) and Medical Positioning, Inc. (MPI) we improve quality of life for end-users and clinicians who rely on our products every day. Our innovative, dynamic and collaborative company culture allows us to continually develop and deliver high-quality solutions, making MPI the leading provider of specialty imaging tables to the acute care market. As a Granite Partners company, we believe in investing back into our company and our employees, offering substantial growth and career opportunities while maintaining our open and collaborative company culture.

Help Improve Lives. Make an Impact. Build a Career!

Be the first conversation in a hospital or imaging center’s path to better diagnostic equipment. You'll warm-call and support MPI's existing accounts, potential clients, uncover needs, and set the qualified appointments that let our Territory Executives do what they do best — solidify the business partnership that puts MPI's imaging and positioning tables to work for clinicians nationwide.

Who We Are

Since 1987, AltimateMedical has designed and built therapeutic equipment that helps people stand, move, and participate — starting with our original EasyStand standing devices. We've since grown into a full complex‑rehab technology company, and every role here, including this one, supports clinicians and the people they care for.

The Brand You'll Represent: MedicalPositioning (MPI)

This role's customer base is MPI, AltimateMedical's diagnostic imaging and positioning brand. Since 1988 — starting with the original EchoBed® — MPI has engineered specialized tables and positioning equipment for hospitals, clinics, diagnostic imaging centers, and medical schools nationwide and abroad. We create innovative medical solutions designed to improve outcomes, increase efficiency, and enhance patient and staff safety. Every day, healthcare professionals rely on our specialized products to support safer, more effective care.

Business Development Representative is responsible for supporting the sales team by prospecting and generating qualified sales leads for MPI. This role generates leads primarily through warm calling — engaging prospects and existing accounts by phone, email, and video conferencing to gauge interest and set qualified appointments for Territory Executives, who carry out the sales conversation and close the business. This is a lead‑generation and appointment‑setting role, not a full outside sales or quota‑carrying sales position. It is a foundational‑level role in which associates build core sales, product, and CRM skills while working under regular guidance from sales leadership. This is a wonderful opportunity to grow a career into medical sales.

What You’ll Do
  • Drive Pipeline & Customer Engagement
  • Generate qualified leads through warm calling — sharing MPI product information by phone, email, and video conferencing — to set qualified appointments for Territory Executives and grow MPI's customer base.
  • Engage prospective customers by providing product information and identifying needs
  • Identify key decision‑makers and map account structures
Partner with Sales Teams
  • Collaborate with Territory Executives to support regional and national sales strategies
  • Align outreach and targeting efforts with broader business goals
  • Provide insights from customer interactions to strengthen sales approach
Leverage Data & Systems
  • Maintain accurate and detailed CRM records, including account insights and engagement activity
  • Track key account information such as organizational structure, planning cycles, and affiliations
  • Analyze dashboards and performance metrics to improve effectiveness
Support Continuous Improvement
  • Gather customer feedback and share insights to inform product and process improvements
  • Stay informed on product offerings and identify opportunities within the sales process
  • Contribute to ongoing initiatives that enhance team performance and customer experience

We provide hands‑on training, mentorship, and a clear path for growth within a company that believes in promoting from within.

If you're competitive, curious, motivated by results, and excited to make an impact in healthcare, this is your chance to join a growing team supporting hospitals and healthcare providers nationwide while developing the skills needed for long-term success in medical device sales.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, empathy, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized.
  • Comfortable working with data, systems, and performance metrics. Prior experience with a Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) or sales‑engagement tool preferred.
  • Interest in healthcare, medical devices, or sales as a career path. Healthcare, medical device, or clinical‑adjacent exposure preferred.
  • Prior sales, customer service, or quota‑carrying experience (any industry) preferred.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment

The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.

  • Regularly required to sit/stand and use a computer, telephone, headset, and other standard office equipment for extended periods.
  • Frequently required to communicate verbally and in writing with customers, coworkers, and business partners.
  • Regularly required to use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other office equipment.
Summary

This position will be a non-exempt role with overtime offered after 40 hours. The base compensation will be $22.45 to $28.85 hourly, with the ability to earn commission and individual performance bonuses with the expected total compensation at $65,000 to $70,000. AMHI offers annual bonuses and profit‑sharing opportunities tied to performance. Beyond pay, our market‑leading benefits are designed to support your wellbeing. These include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as short‑ and long‑term disability coverage. We also provide a health savings account with company match, a retirement plan with employer contributions through Vanguard, and access to the Granite Assistance Fund for support when it’s needed most. We value time for rest and personal growth, offering generous paid time off, including volunteer time off and paid holidays.
