Toshiba America Business Solutions is seeking a Business Development Sales Representative in a hybrid role to drive qualified sales pipeline. You will engage prospects via strategic phone outreach and targeted email sequences, qualifying opportunities and scheduling meetings for Account Executives.

The role requires at least 1 year in outbound sales or related fields, strong communication, and CRM experience (Salesforce).

Join Toshiba America Business Solutions as a Business Development Sales Representative (Hybrid)

You’ll work directly with the sales team generating qualified sales pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting and disciplined inbound lead follow-up within a defined Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). Serving as the front line of the sales organization, the BDR engages prospective customers through strategic phone outreach, email campaigns, and targeted sales sequences to identify opportunities and schedule meetings for Account Executives.

What You’ll Do

• Generate prospective customers through cold-calling and email to qualify leads with the ultimate goal of setting appointments.
• Qualify prospective customers through structured discovery and needs assessment, ensuring meetings scheduled for Account Executives meet established qualification standards and align with target customer profiles.
• Maintain accurate and timely activity tracking within CRM and sales engagement systems, ensuring all prospect interactions, follow-up tasks, and qualification details are properly documented and visible to leadership and Account Executives.
• Collaborate closely with Account Executives and sales leadership to improve meeting quality, messaging effectiveness, objection handling, and conversion performance, while actively participating in coaching sessions, call reviews, training, and continuous skills development initiatives.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in one or more of the following; outbound sales, lead development, telemarketing or outside sales.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently engage prospective customers over the phone and through written outreach
• Comfortable operating in a high-volume outbound prospecting environment with daily activity expectations
• Ability to learn and execute qualification frameworks to identify high-quality sales opportunities
• Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage follow-up and sequencing activities consistently
• Experience using CRM and sales engagement platforms such as Salesforce.
• Ability to work effectively within a structured, metrics-driven sales environment focused on accountability and continuous improvement

Earn Well

• $62,000.00 first year earning potential, Hourly Range: $17.00-$21.00, based on experience.
• First-year on-track earnings at 100%, including base, commission.
