This is a foundational role focused strictly on driving incremental new sales in the USA region. You will execute a consultative sales approach, proactively hunt for new opportunities, and expand the organization’s client footprint. Your success in this role is directly tied to your demonstrated ability to apply your sales expertise to drive company growth through net‑new logo acquisition. Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sales Execution: Manage the full sales cycle for net‑new business, including proactive outbound prospecting, lead qualification, securing introductory calls, creating and presenting detailed, high‑impact proposals, and closing new business across the US.
- Revenue Growth: Work closely with executive leadership to identify new growth opportunities, implement and execute targeted strategies for new client acquisition, and contribute to regional revenue goals by consistently achieving and exceeding new sales targets.
- New Client Acquisition & Handoff: Build trusted relationships with prospective clients by taking a consultative, client‑first approach to understanding business needs and recommending tailored solutions. Serve as the primary point of contact through contract execution, successfully completing the handoff to the appropriate internal operations team once the sale is closed.
- Sales Enablement: Maintain critical sales documentation, track pipeline and key performance metrics in the CRM, and streamline the sales‑to‑operations handover process to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new clients.
- Leadership Development: Take a self‑driven, proactive approach to mastering the complex event services and technology landscape, building the foundational knowledge necessary to help expand the future sales organization.
- Industry Networking & Business Development: Represent the company at trade shows, industry conferences, networking events, and prospective client meetings to build relationships and identify net‑new business opportunities.
- Team Support: Contribute to a collaborative team environment and provide support at client events and company initiatives as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Sales,, Marketing, Communications, Entrepreneurship, or a related field is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of demonstrable success in full‑cycle B2B sales, outbound prospecting, or technology sales is required. Event industry experience preferred.
- Experience and familiarity with event technology is preferred.
- Highly driven, persistent, and a proactive self‑starter with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and proven ability to build a sales pipeline independently.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the professional acumen required to build rapport and trust with executive‑level decision‑makers.
- Detail‑oriented and highly organized, with a proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple complex sales opportunities simultaneously.

- Willingness and ability to travel periodically for trade shows, networking events, prospect meetings, and company activities.
Office and Compensation Details
- Location: This is a full‑time, in‑office position located in Birmingham, AL.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform computer‑based work for workdays (sitting, typing, and screen use) and possess the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move light objects for office and meeting setup.
- Travel: Moderate travel is expected for industry events, trade shows, client meetings, and US business development activities.
