About Peril Mavens

Peril Mavens is a multidisciplinary safety and risk consulting firm serving a broad spectrum of high-risk environments with technical depth and real-world execution. Our experience spans mission-critical federal construction projects, automotive, energy infrastructure, utility and electrical operations, general industry manufacturing, and both general and subcontractor support across commercial builds.

We’ve also worked alongside real estate firms to manage facility safety and contractor compliance. This diversity enables us to adapt our strategies to varied operational demands—delivering consistent, actionable solutions that protect people, reduce risk, and drive long-term performance.

️ What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a motivated and self-directed Business Development Representative to help grow our book of business. This is a part-time or contract position (flexible hours), ideal for someone with experience in B2B sales or consulting services — especially within construction, insurance, safety, or AEC industries.

This role is a mix of outreach, relationship-building, and proposal coordination. You’ll work directly with the founder to identify new opportunities, respond to RFPs, and position Peril Mavens as a go-to partner in the industry.Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with GCs, subcontractors, insurers, developers, and construction management firms
  • Conduct outbound outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn
  • Provide light market research on target companies and industries
  • Assist with pipeline tracking and CRM entries
  • Help maintain and update capability statements, decks, and marketing collateral
  • Coordinate proposal responses and bid submissions

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
  • 2+ years of business development, sales, or client engagement experience (bonus for work in construction, risk, or consulting services)
  • Comfortable with remote work and digital tools (Google Workspace, CRM, etc.)
  • Able to work independently, prioritize leads, and take initiative
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Familiarity with proposal processes and RFP responses

  • Pay: $15/hr Hours: ~10–20 hours/week (flexible)
