Canyon View Credit Union is seeking a Financial Service Representative (Banker/Teller) in Utah. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional member service, processing transactions, educating on loans, and solving problems to boost satisfaction and retention.

The position involves outbound onboarding calls, cross-selling, and meeting sales/service goals while upholding privacy and regulatory standards. Hours are typical banking shifts with potential bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Prior cash handling, customer service and/or sales experience.
• Effective communication skills and self-motivation.
• 6+ months building customer relationships and offering sales/solutions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build member relationships through attentive service and needs-based recommendations.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, wires and other transactions accurately.
• Cross-sell products and services to meet member needs.
• Make outbound calls for onboarding and relationship-building.
• Develop and maintain member relationships for retention and growth.
• Complete daily tasks timely and support branch goals.
• Meet sales/service goals and participate in development programs.
• Greet members professionally and use their name.
• Be knowledgeable about all Credit Union products and services.
• Examine checks for holds and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Answer inquiries on rates, fees and account histories.
• Manage currency from vault within cash limits.
• Refer members for Real Estate, Loans and Wealth Management.
• Follow onboarding contact cadence with follow-up notes.
• Process deposits, payments, withdrawals and checks accurately.
• Comply with Bank Secrecy Act and related regulations.
• Assist in sales meetings, training and mentoring.
• Support branch operations including vault balancing and audits.
• Support security of the branch.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Understand and apply Bank Secrecy Act.
