Job summary

StepStone Group is seeking a BD Analyst/Intern to support local BD efforts by assisting client-facing sales professionals. The BD Analyst/Intern will also support the Global BD team on an ad-hoc basis under the direction of the head of sales operations.

You will update the firm’s Salesforce CRM, generate reports, coordinate conference logistics, schedule meetings, and assist the Global BD Team on projects. This role is ideal for an undergrad graduating 2027–2028 with strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student graduating December 2027 through June 2028.
• Must be able to work legally in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• GPA of 3.2 or above.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to learn new concepts and apply them.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to be self-starter who can work independently.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain data in the firm’s CRM system (Salesforce) on behalf of and in conjunction with the BD team.
• Produce various standardized or ad-hoc business development reports.
• Liaise with the firm’s Marketing and Communications Team in coordinating the logistics for conferences or events.
• Assist the local BD with scheduling meetings and maintain calendars as needed.
• Provide general support for the Global BD Team.
• Work on ad-hoc BD related projects.
