Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of Bank operations, products and services; related state and federal laws and regulations, and other Bank operational policies.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills – ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct personnel.

Responsibilities

• Engages in business development activities and solicitation of new business prospects; participates in community affairs and public speaking; promotes products and services to grow deposits and loans.
• Contributes to profitability by pricing loans and deposits to meet profitability goals; supports cost controls and non-interest income initiatives.
• Colllaborates with Credit Department and Branch staff to support loan structure, approvals and relations; mentors staff on customer presentations and call efforts.
• Maintains compliance with Bank policies, CRA activities and regulatory requirements; supports safe banking and proper risk management.
• Prepares routine and special reports; stays updated on financial industry trends; completes required compliance courses.
