First National Bank in Greensboro, North Carolina seeks a Business Development Officer 2 to cultivate new small business loan and deposit relationships, service existing clients, and expand the bank's community presence. You will network with local businesses, identify financial needs, and drive cross-selling of products.

You will lead outreach efforts, maintain a prospecting program, and collaborate with bank partners to meet strategic goals while upholding compliance and service standards.

Formación

• BA or BS required.
• 7 years minimum experience in business development or banking preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with small business lending and deposits.
• Ability to network and prospect within the community.

Responsabilidades

• Develops new small business relationships and services current small business loan and deposit relationships by prospecting new customers and cross-selling products.
• Contacts customers to determine loan, deposit, insurance and investment needs; refers to specialists as needed.
• Maintains a prospecting calling program and makes cold calls to promote the Bank's products and services.
• Resolves customer problems and escalates when necessary to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Promotes the Bank's professional image through community involvement and referrals.
• Submits reports on business development activity including calls, deposits, loans and referrals.
• Leads and coaches peers, aligns with bank objectives, and participates in joint calling with partners.
