EPI is dedicated to sustainability and is known for its local and global partnerships.
The role is responsible for generating revenue opportunities related to new and existing clients and managing projects. As Business Development (BD) Manager, you will lead the growing footprint of the EPI Group across the energy industry, responsible for delivering revenue generation in the North America region for our Sustainable Energy Services market vertical. Initially, the focus will be the offshore wind market, but over time this will expand to include a range of renewable and low-carbon energy technologies. You will be responsible for growing EPI’s business in the renewable energy sector, particularly offshore wind site investigation, CCS, and geothermal markets in the US energy sector. Our current business is primarily securing contracts for the supply of MMO/PSO/PAM personnel, geotechnical and geophysical (G&G) offshore client representatives, and site investigation project management. Secondary services include UXO risk management, vessel auditing, and recruitment of qualified personnel for projects.
Key responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to the following:
Build sources of market intelligence to focus business development and input data into the EPI CRM system. Actively engage with potential clients via meetings, telephone calls, and email to make them aware of EPI’s services and the Company’s positive track record. Attend relevant trade shows, focusing on environmental and offshore wind services. Help develop relevant marketing materials in collaboration with colleagues and consistent with the EPI brand. Scout and review new business opportunities with potential partner companies to build the overall equity value of EPI. Develop ideas for new products and markets, using ideas gained from clients and consultant feedback. Support wider company marketing (news articles, blogs, etc.), internal/external communications, and internal training programs.
