Description

ASC Engineered Solutions is seeking a Project Pursuit Subject Matter Expert – Data Centers/Advanced Manufacturing to lead strategic business development efforts across a defined geographic region. This role is instrumental in expanding ASC’s footprint in high-growth sectors—particularly data centers and advanced manufacturing—by identifying, engaging, and influencing key project stakeholders including owners, engineers, and contractors.

With a strong focus on specification influence and market intelligence, the Project Pursuit SME will implement ASC’s market box strategy to enhance our presence in both master and project specifications, while ensuring a smooth handoff of qualified opportunities to the commercial sales team.

How You Will Help

• Serve as an internal expert on data center construction and operations.
• Identify and pursue project opportunities by leveraging relationships with top contractors
• Lead strategic efforts in billion-dollar projects spanning millions of square feet
• Collaborate with engineering teams and contractors to specify and position products for inclusion in major data center projects
• Work closely with industry associations to stay ahead of trends and connect with influential speakers and decision-makers.
• Maintain and expand a pipeline of upcoming data center projects, including timelines, specifications, and key contacts.
  
  

What You Will Bring

• 10+ years of experience in a business development or project management role
• Proven experience in project management, sales, or engineering within the mechanical or fire protection space
• Deep understanding of construction processes and product requirements for large-scale facilities.
• Strong network of contacts among contractors, engineers, and facility owners.
• Ability to translate technical product knowledge into strategic market opportunities.
  
  

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $140,000.00 - $190,000.00 USD annually*.

• The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this role.
