You will identify opportunities, support complex evaluations, and influence long-term market strategy while engaging scientists and senior stakeholders. Base salary $160–$175K with bonus.

Qualifications

• Proven business development success within the proteomics market.
• Experience selling proteomics solutions to biopharma, CROs, core labs, or similar.
• Strong understanding of mass spectrometry-based proteomics; hands-on lab experience is a plus.

Primary Responsibilities

• Early adopters and key opinion leaders are already using the technology. Your challenge will be to take it beyond the innovators and establish it as a routine part of proteomics workflows across the broader market. Working closely with commercial and technical teams, you’ll identify new opportunities, support complex customer evaluations, and help shape long-term market strategy.

Candidate Qualifications

• Proven business development success within the proteomics market
• Experience selling proteomics solutions for companies such as Seer, Quanterix, Olink, Thermo Fisher, Bruker, SCIEX, Waters, Agilent, or similar
• Strong understanding of mass spectrometry-based proteomics, ideally with previous hands-on laboratory experience
• Ability to scale the market from early adopters into mainstream research and biopharma workflows
• Excellent commercial instincts with the credibility to engage scientists, lab leaders, and senior stakeholders
