Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, implement and manage the various new business development targeted areas inside the industry strategies, focused on growth and customer satisfaction. Position sales and service activities for maximum penetration, monitor current projects and manage resolution of specific customer problems. Be the voice of authority on new techniques and technology inside the measurement and analytical area.The work model for the role is: RemoteThis role is contributing to the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics Instrumentation Sales division.You will be mainly accountable for:• Sales strategies - Understands the key business drivers of the relevant to the targeted customer’s business and business environment and interprets the impact and opportunity for ABB. Participates in the development of sales strategies for the targeted account and project activities.• Sales targets - Defines and proposes sales targets for the accounts / large projects and ensures their achievement with a structured follow up process across the Business Line and countries.• Account planning - Leads the development and implementation of the account plans to include designing the executive relationship strategy and coverage plans, prioritizing the opportunities, identifying a target for analytical portfolio.• Customer relations - Establishes and develops account relationships based on a defined strategy. Acts as focal point for problem resolution and monitors the customer claims. Plans, facilitates and conducts customer negotiations.Our team dynamicsYou will join a dynamic and high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role
  • Good time / activity and priority management skills
  • 10+ years’ experience in measurement and analytical Industry
  • Leverage your existing relationships in the industry to bring new selling opportunities to ABB
  • Ability to develop and implement structured sales processes and strategies that improve efficiency and lead to winning team
  • Intense competitor knowledge; Passion for selling and winning.
  • Obsessive focus on end users, their wants and needs, their goals and objectives, how they buy, how they maintain their equipment, how they partner with suppliers.
  • Ability to develop relationships at all levels in ABB, our channel partners and our end users (from field personnel to corner office).
  • Ability to travel. Overnight travel is estimated to be up to 75+ nights per year depending on location and customer targets and project / EPC offices for main targeted areas.
