The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving new business growth throughout the Mid-Atlantic region by identifying, developing, and converting new customer opportunities. This highly visible, field-based role partners closely with Regional Sales Directors, Customer Success, and cross-functional teams to expand DVFG's customer base, strengthen customer relationships, and support long-term sales growth.
This position is primarily field-based, with approximately 75-85% travel throughout the assigned territory. Frequent driving, customer site visits, and occasional overnight travel are required. This role may also require occasional work in office, warehouse, and refrigerated environments. Employees must be able to operate a computer, communicate effectively, and occasionally lift and transport materials with or without reasonable accommodation.
