Curry College, founded in 1879, is a private, four-year, liberal arts-based institution in Milton, Massachusetts. Curry is the only college in Massachusetts to guarantee students a job after graduation via The Curry Commitment program. The College is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE) and offers 28 undergraduate majors, over 50 minors and concentrations, seven graduate programs, and an associate's degree. The Business Development Manger serves as a key member of the Neurodiversity Center for Excellence (NCE) at Curry College and is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding strategic partnerships, and advancing the Center's external engagement efforts. This position leads business development initiatives for the Center's portfolio of professional development programs, executive functioning offerings, consultations, sponsored projects, workforce initiatives, and customized training solutions. Working under the direction of the Executive Director, the Business Development Manager identifies, develops, and manages relationships with corporate, nonprofit, educational, healthcare, government, and community partners. The Business Development Manager manages the full sales cycle, from prospect identification and outreach through proposal development, contract negotiation, and account management. This role works collaboratively with Center leadership, faculty experts, and operational staff to develop tailored solutions that address client needs while advancing the mission and strategic goals of the Neurodiversity Center for Excellence. The ideal candidate will have experience in business development, consultative sales, account management, partnership development, or a related field, with demonstrated success generating revenue, cultivating long-term partnerships, and managing complex stakeholder relationships.

Consultative and Solution‑Oriented Selling:Engages prospective partners through thoughtful discovery and needs assessment conversations. Effectively translates organizational challenges into customized solutions by aligning Neurodiversity Center programs, services, and expertise with client objectives, timelines, and budgets. 4. Collaborative Leadership:Works effectively across departments and stakeholder groups to support business development efforts and successful project implementation. Fosters collaboration, open communication, and shared accountability while maintaining strong relationships with internal and external partners. 5. Organizational Excellence:Demonstrates strong project management, organizational, and time‑management skills. Maintains accurate records, sales pipelines, forecasts, proposals, contracts, and partnership communications while effectively managing multiple priorities and deadlines. 6. Adaptability and Innovation:Responds effectively to changing market conditions, client needs, and organizational priorities. Approaches challenges with creativity, flexibility, and a growth mindset while continuously identifying opportunities to enhance services, partnerships, and revenue generation. 7. Ethical and Mission‑Driven PracticeActs with integrity, professionalism, and respect in all interactions. Balances revenue generation with the mission, values, and reputation of Curry College and the Neurodiversity Center for Excellence while maintaining confidentiality and sound professional judgment. 8. Results‑Oriented and Impact‑DrivenDemonstrates accountability for achieving measurable business development goals, partnership outcomes, and revenue targets. Takes initiative, embraces continuous improvement, and remains focused on expanding the reach and impact of the Neurodiversity Center for Excellence. Minimum Qualifications:$60,000, plus 5% bonus on closed deals.
