Job summary

Thermon Industries, Inc is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to expand our Commercial Segment across the United States. You will identify opportunities, build strategic relationships, drive specification activity, and support commercial project development from design through execution.

Collaborating with customers, channel partners, engineering firms, contractors, and internal teams, you will position Thermon's solutions on construction and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of business development, account management, technical sales, or market development experience.
  • Experience with engineering firms, contractors, distributors, developers, EPCs, or end users.
  • Proven success identifying, developing, and growing business opportunities.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to travel throughout the United States, approximately 50%.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities across commercial and mission-critical construction markets.
  • Establish and grow relationships with key customers, engineering firms, contractors, developers, and channel partners.

Thermon is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to help expand our Commercial Segment business throughout the United States. This role is responsible for identifying opportunities, building strategic relationships, driving specification activity, and supporting commercial project development across a variety of end markets.

Working collaboratively with customers, channel partners, engineering firms, contractors, and internal teams, the successful candidate will help position Thermon's solutions on commercial construction and infrastructure projects from initial design through project execution.

What You'll Do

What You Bring
Required Qualifications

  • Experience working with engineering firms, contractors, distributors, developers, EPCs, or end users.
  • Demonstrated success identifying, developing, and growing business opportunities.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to travel throughout the United States, approximately 50%.
Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following:

Experience supporting specification development and project-based selling environments is highly desirable.
