Job Overview


The person in this position will be empowered to define and drive strategic changes, influencing the company's future growth in the Americas region. The focus will primarily be on the Data Center Segment, including AI server and data center power infrastructure.


The role reports to the Americas Region Leader and can be based in Plano, TX, or remotely if outside a commutable distance.


Responsibilities


  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, including new customers, applications, and geographic areas.
  • Implement new business models and partnerships to enable growth.
  • Monitor market trends, technologies, and solutions within the focus segment and collaborate with sales, marketing, and FAE teams to understand customer needs for future growth.
  • Connect potential suppliers, customers, and channel partners to develop solutions, products, and partnerships.
  • Prepare an annual regional growth strategy, including market segmentation, sizing, dynamics, initiatives, and implementation plans.
  • Provide market research and intelligence for the global business within the focus segment.
  • Work with product managers and R&D to define future products and solutions, leading the process to incorporate market and customer input into product roadmaps.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a commercial role focused on developing new markets, applications, or customers.
  • At least 50% travel within the Americas region.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience selling into the data center market, particularly to cloud service providers.
