Candidates should have robust B2B sales and staffing experience and be prepared to work beyond standard hours when necessary. The successful candidate will foster relationships with clients, assist in employee planning, and contribute to meeting company annual targets

Qualifications

• Previous business-to-business sales experience is required or preferred.
• Strong customer service, public relations and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Human Resources/Employment Law is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Willingness to be available beyond normal working hours if needed.

Responsibilities

• Sell in the area through calls on warm and cold leads.
• Develop and generate new customer contacts and relationships.
• Schedule meetings to determine hiring needs with current and prospective clients.
• Negotiate contracts with guidance from the General Manager.
• Attend networking events to promote the Job Impulse brand.
• Develop key community contacts (Accountants, Attorneys, Bankers, etc.).
• Collaborate with corporate team to support Job Impulse annual goals.

JOB DESCRIPTION

A new international has an immediate opening for a Business Development Manager in Summerville, SC. The Business Development Manager is responsible for managing relationships potential and existing clients. In this role, you’ll foster relationships with key decision makers, as well as help clients with employee planning. The selected candidate should have previous business to business sales experience.

Responsibilities of a Business Development Manager

• Conduct sales in the area through calling on warm and cold leads
• Develop & Generate new customer contacts
• Schedule meetings with current and prospective clients to determine hiring needs
• Complete contract negotiations with help of General Manager
• Attend networking events to promote the Job Impulse brand
• Develop key community contacts, such as Accountants, Attorneys, Bankers, etc.
• Work closely with corporate team to determine Job Impulse annual goals

REQUIRED Experience:

• Previous experience in a business to business sales role or a minimum of 2 years of recruiting or staffing
• Previous experience within the staffing industry a must
• Superior customer service, public relations, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Human Resources/Employment Law
• Commitment to multi-tasking
• Strong communications skills, both written and verbal in English
• Willingness to be available beyond normal working hours if needed

PERFERRED Education:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant work experience
