Job summary

InnoCare Pharma in San Francisco is seeking a Business Development professional to drive cross-functional due diligence and deal execution across early-stage R&D, CMC, clinical, regulatory, and finance. You will support projections, financial modelling, and proposal preparation while coordinating scheduling and internal logistics for the BD team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform BD strategies.
• Track competitors' pipeline progress and deals in target therapeutic areas.

Key Responsibilties

• Coordinate internal cross function for due diligence, including early-stage R&D, CMC, clinical, regulatory, and finance departments, providing tracking and data management support.
• Support projection, financial modelling and proposal preparation, deal negotiation,
• Support BD group members to achieve annual target by actively coordinate member’s scheduling, travel arrangement, internal documentation and other internal logistics.
• Conduct comprehensive market and competitor analysis, participate in the formulation and updating of business development strategies that are consistent with the company's overall strategy.
• Tack key competitor's pipeline progress and deals within target therapeutic areas.
• Support internal pipeline project valuation and pipeline strategy formulation. Liaison between BD team and R&D team, providing input into research design and data analytics, establishing project evaluation model.
• Connect R&D approach with commercial considerations in in bound projects. Be responsible for pre-evaluation, patient flow/buying process, projection, financial modelling and proposal preparation for in bound projects.

Requirements

• Master's in science discipline; a PhD in life-science is preferred.
• 3+ years of previous experience in business development, consulting experience in healthcare industry is a plus.
• Strong scientific orientation - deep understanding of the drug development, approval, and commercialization processes.
• Good interpersonal skills and sociability.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence and work successfully with varied audiences.
• In depth knowledge of techniques of financial analysis, corporate and product valuation as necessary to engineer such deals.
• Strong results orientation, and the ability to work effectively in an entrepreneurial environment.
