Job summary

Buckeyecenter in the United States (Kentucky region) is seeking a senior customer experience and sales leader to oversee key supplier metrics and drive commercial activities across assigned accounts.

Responsibilities include RFQs, pricing negotiations, inventory forecasting, and cross-functional leadership to enhance service levels and profitability. Strong bilingual English/Korean proficiency and supervisory experience are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

  • Over 5 years of progressive experience in specialty automotive chemical and materials science companies, customer service, and inventory.
  • Supervisory or management experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the overall customer experience by monitoring performance against key supplier metrics and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Lead sales and commercial management activities for assigned customer accounts, including RFQs, engineering changes, contract administration, customer-owned tooling documentation, customer portal management, VA/VE initiatives, capacity planning, pricing and commercial negotiations, accounts receivable oversight, and customer program support.
  • Develop and execute customer engagement strategies, including defining key points of contact, communication frequency, and relationship-building initiatives with decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends, customer activity, and competitor developments, providing relevant insights and strategic recommendations to leadership to support business growth opportunities.
  • Inventory Management
  • Oversee inventory levels and forecasting to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess inventory and obsolescence.
  • Coordinate timely and accurate parts delivery to customers and internal service departments to maintain high service standards and operational efficiency.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and schedule department personnel to build a high-performing and customer-focused team.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance management, and professional development opportunities to maximize employee engagement and sales performance.

  • Resolve escalated customer concerns in a professional and timely manner while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain departmental service standards and reinforce a strong customer-centric culture aligned with company brand expectations.
  • Develop and manage annual operating budgets, pricing strategies, and departmental financial performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements, including OSHA and industry-specific guidelines.
  • Analyze departmental KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive profitability and operational excellence.
