Base pay range

$130,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

This position is responsible for overseeing and directing the daily sales operations. Key duties include meeting with major clients, preparing comprehensive sales reports, developing new and more effective sales strategies, and leading marketing and promotional efforts for the company's products and services. To achieve sales objectives, the incumbent will establish a strategic plan within their assigned accounts and markets, implement that plan, and build deep, long-term relationships with key stakeholders within the client organizations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other job-related duties may be assigned in conformance with state and federal regulations.

  • Leads sales for project execution on a national scale, focusing on clients across retail, restaurant, grocery, banking, hospitality, airport, automotive, convenience store/petroleum, healthcare, and EV charging sectors. Establishes objectives within the market by identifying key organizations and researching and analyzing these organizations; understands current and future market trends for key organizations.
  • One of the key position objectives is to identify and qualify potential clients that fit ideal client profile with the goal of setting up client meetings to propose engagements.
  • Follow up and close leads established in conjunction with the Executive Vice President of Sales.
  • Establishes objectives by forecasting and developing sales plan for assigned territories and projecting expected sales volume.
  • Develops relationships with targeted clients by facilitating introductions, building rapport through additional contact, arranging /attending business events, and participating in industry functions.
  • Establishes market by identifying, penetrating and developing long term relationships with key organizations or agencies managing asset portfolio. This position involved sales targeting, prospecting, proposing, upselling, and closing new business.
  • Services targeted clients by conducting sales calls to establish an understanding of the account’s business strategies and organizational structure, as well as to position capabilities.
  • Customizes services for clients by adjusting and focusing the sales efforts to targeted client’s business needs.
  • Increases business by developing broad, deep, long-term relationships within the client’s organization.
  • Responds to client Requests for Information, Quotations, and Proposals while meeting strict deadlines.
  • Acts as client representative within identify and direct investigation of problems, develop solutions, and ensure projects are delivered as requested by client.
  • Represents BV at local and national industry-specific conferences.
  • Candidates must be able to cross sell services from other business lines.
  • Inputs opportunities accurately and on a timely basis.
  • Keeps management informed by working within Salesforce and communicating with management on a weekly/monthly basis about activities/progress within the assigned region.
  • Devises new and innovative ways to market products and services.
  • Compiles and submits information on specific client transactions for preparation of proposals, statements of qualification, etc.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, market trends, etc.
  • Enhances professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Protects operations by keeping company information confidential.
  • Delivers outstanding customer service through timely response and proactive solutions to clients’ needs.
  • Demonstrates guiding principles in support of the company's strategic goals.
  • Follows all documented policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and Work Instructions applicable to the position and support of quality standards and strategic initiatives.
  • Maintains safe and clean work area by complying with all procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job.
  • Travel by Plane, Motor Vehicle, Train (up to 50% of workweek) to client sites across the U.S.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university in related field;
  • Minimum of 2 – 5 years of related experience (division specific roles), or minimum of 5 years of related experience (market sector focused roles).
  • Experience focusing on these verticals: design-build execution services on a national scale for clients in retail, restaurant, grocery, banking, hospitality, airport, automotive, convenience store/petroleum, healthcare, and electric vehicle (EV) charging.
  • In lieu of degree, 5 – 8 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrate an ability to sell business to business services.

Compensation

Base 130,000 - 150,000

Commission structure - 2% of all gross sales

Typical compensation with all commission 300,000-400,000
