Job summary

Kokosing Industrial, Inc. seeks a Business Development Manager to drive visibility and engagement in the Water market and support growth in Federal and Industrial & Power sectors.

You will lead the development of BD plans, prospect new clients, and manage relationships with key stakeholders. Responsibilities include leading proposals, coordinating with marketing, estimating and operations, and maintaining CRM data.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in target industries (municipal, federal, industrial) preferred but 15+ years is ideal.
• Established relationships in DC, MD, VA and surrounding areas.
• BS in engineering / construction management or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a business development plan for the water market and federal/industrial sectors.
• Lead proposal development, coordinating with marketing, estimating and operations.
• Grow relationships with existing clients and prospect new opportunities.
• Manage leads and opportunities in the CRM and set client meetings with practice leaders.

The Business Development Manager is responsible for Kokosing’s visibility and engagement across Kokosing’s Water market and support growth in our Federal and Industrial & Power markets.Activities of the Business Development Manager include, but are not limited to, development and execution of a business development plan, prospecting of new clients, furthering relationships with existing clients, attendance at industry events, participation in industry organizations, management of contacts and leads through a CRM system, leading proposal efforts, coordinating with key staff in marketing, estimating, and operations.
