Job summary

ResourceMFG is seeking a Business Development Manager in Austin, TX to drive manufacturing staffing growth and build strategic partnerships with plant managers, production leaders, and HR partners, expanding our local territory with proactive in-field prospecting. This role blends sales, market insight, and consultative account management, offering base compensation plus commission.

You will leverage LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and CRM to create a strong pipeline while delivering safety, workforce

Qualifications

• Outside sales experience is required.
• Proven success generating new accounts using LinkedIn and CRM.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of production workflows.
• Excellent organization and time-management skills.
• Salesforce experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business development: 70% in-field prospecting, 30% account management.
• Engage manufacturing clients through calls, site visits, social outreach, and email.
• Leverage LinkedIn and your SSI score to build a strong pipeline of plant managers, production leaders, and HR partners.
• Use labor market intel to identify customer pain points like turnover, skills gaps, and productivity challenges.
• Provide consultative account management focused on safety, workforce optimization, and performance.
• Win net new logos and grow your manufacturing-focused territory.
