ResourceMFG, part of EmployBridge, is seeking an Outside Business Development Manager for its Austin, TX region to drive new manufacturing client partnerships and build strategic supply pipelines. This role blends field prospecting with account management to expand our manufacturing staffing footprint.

The ideal candidate has proven outside sales success, strong industry insight, and excellent relationship-building skills to engage plant and HR leaders. On-site role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Energetic, competitive mindset with a passion for manufacturing.
• Proven success generating new accounts using ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, and CRM.
• Strong business acumen to understand production workflows and workforce demand.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Salesforce experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience in outside sales.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business development: 70% in-field prospecting, 30% account management.
• Engage manufacturing clients through calls, site visits, social outreach, and email.
• Leverage LinkedIn and SSI score to build a strong pipeline of plant managers, production leaders, and HR partners.
• Use labor market intel to identify customer pain points like turnover and productivity challenges.
• Provide consultative account management focused on safety, workforce optimization, and performance.
• Win new logos and grow manufacturing-focused territory.
