Job Overview: The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) in North America promotes and sells gear and centrifugal pumps across diverse segments, developing new business through prospecting and solution-based selling, leveraging internal support and working with distribution partners. The role requires a collaborative, self-motivated individual capable of building business in new and existing markets.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop strategic business plans with internal teams to grow market penetration and distributor sales.
  2. Collaborate with distributors to identify prospects and pursue new business.
  3. Lead pricing negotiations, technical specifications, and quotations for major deals.
  4. Use CRM to track inquiries, quotes, bids, and customer interactions.
  5. Engage with customers in person and virtually, delivering presentations.
  6. Monitor and communicate low or eroding margins due to competitive pricing.
  7. Provide feedback on customer needs, competition, and pricing strategies.
  8. Qualify leads and conduct regular business reviews to assess and improve performance.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of sales experience.
  • Experience managing large channel partners with annual sales over $250,000.
  • Technical sales experience with gear, centrifugal pumps, or related products preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, and ERP software.
  • High energy and goal-oriented mindset.

  • Product Knowledge: Gear and centrifugal pump technology.
  • Technical Sales: Applying technical knowledge to recommend solutions.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management: Effective communication with diverse stakeholders and collaboration with customers.

Preferences:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Extensive travel experience in the assigned area and with distributors.

Travel & Work Arrangements: Remote position with up to 50% travel.

Pay Range: $100,000 - $130,000 plus bonuses and incentives.
