Overview

Entertainment Resource.net is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Leader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding our market presence in the entertainment management field through strategic planning and effective client relationship management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, sales, marketing and public relations along with possessing a strong network of hospitality executive and/or food & beverage professionals. In addition, candidate must have a highly active LinkedIn profile and network. Knowledge of hospitality entertainment management business a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve financial goals
  • Identify new market opportunities and establish relationships with potential clients
  • Manage customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability
  • Monitor entertainment industry trends and competitor activities to influence strategic decisions
  • Prepare and present reports on business development activities and outcomes
  • Develop and implement sales strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency, productivity, and meet or exceed sales goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing and programming to align operational goals with overall business objectives and ensure seamless coordination and integration of entertainer's based on client’s needs and agreement
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and innovation to enhance operational capabilities and drive continual improvement
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to ensure optimal utilization of performers at client sites
  • Foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and continual learning within the operations team, promoting professional development and growth opportunities for team members
  • Stay updated with entertainment industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in operations management, and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and competitive advantage
  • Represent the company in strategic partnerships, negotiations, and performer management to ensure effective collaboration and optimize operational outcomes
  • Complete bona-fide assignments as needed to meet or exceed the business needs

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development or sales roles, preferably within the hospitality industry
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer relationship management principles
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools
  • Proficiency CRM software is highly desirable
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract management
  • Strong analytical skills for strategic planning and decision-making
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
