Job summary

Monad Foundation, a core contributor to the Monad protocol, is seeking a Business Development Lead for AI & Compute to own the ecosystem at the intersection of AI infrastructure, agentic applications, and onchain markets in San Francisco.

You will build relationships with AI founders, venture firms, and compute providers; turn introductions into early-stage teams launching on Monad; and drive measurable outcomes by coordinating across technical, ecosystem, DeFi, and legal teams.

• A record of closing and launching partnerships and deals.

Responsibilities

• Own sourcing and activation. Build Monad’s presence in San Francisco through founders and the AI community; manage qualification, follow-up, deployment, and launch.
• Build venture and capital relationships; turn introductions into qualified opportunities and teams building on Monad.
• Drive the compute-markets strategy with protocols, providers, and trading partners; develop compute index vaults and liquidity products.
• Drive agentic payments; activate teams building agent-driven and stablecoin payments and convert integrations into real activity.
• Structure and close collaborations; negotiate commercial arrangements across company stages and connect traditional finance with onchain execution.
• Turn strategy into measurable outcomes; coordinate across technical, ecosystem, DeFi, communications, and legal support and track live metrics.
