PR by the Book is a Austin-based boutique publicity firm seeking a sales professional to find, manage and close new leads in the publishing space. The role emphasizes building publisher and author relationships, attending conferences, and promoting our publicity campaigns for authors and experts.

You will work remotely across the United States with a flexible compensation structure, competitive benefits, and opportunities to grow within a literary media relations team.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years of professional sales experience in publishing or publicity.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented salesperson with a can-do attitude.
• Existing relationships with publishing companies and author organizations.
• Willingness to travel to conferences within the U.S. as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Translate PR by the Book passion for book promotion into client leads.
• Develop ongoing publisher and author relationships, turning leads into clients.
• Speak at publishing conferences/trade shows and writing conferences to promote PR by the Book (within the U.S).

Responsibilities

• Translate PR by the Book passion for book promotion and digital expertise to potential clients
• Develop ongoing publisher and author relationships, turning those leads into clients
• Speak and/or attend publishing conferences/trade shows and writing conferences to promote PR by the Book (within the U.S)

• 3-5 years of professional sales experience in publishing or publicity
