Job summary

Chick-fil-A is offering a Business Development Internship focused on real-world business, marketing, and leadership experience this summer. You will rotate through restaurant roles and participate in Pathway Training, while applying teamwork and Pathway knowledge each week.

Expect 25+ hours per week in restaurant operations, with Monday-Saturday availability. Pay is $15.00 per hour, and the program runs ~8 weeks from June 1 to July 24, 2027, with some days off allowed but must be made up.

Qualifications

• Juniors or Seniors (Business, Marketing, Management, or related majors).
• GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Student Organization Leader with leadership track record.
• Previous work experience (1–2 years).

Responsibilities

• Business rotational program—serve in various restaurant roles (Front of House, Back of House, Sales and Brand Growth, Talent, etc.).
• Pathway Training—Chick-fil-A’s training program.
• All basic Chick-fil-A Team Member duties and responsibilities.
• Respond with “My Pleasure” when a customer says “Thank You.”
• Demonstrate eye contact, friendly tone and smile with each customer.
• Build relationships with guests and team members.
• Analyze business data (sales, speed of service, food costs, etc.).
• Support the business in different areas and projects (e.g., breaking car count records, increasing sales and team member engagement with Limited Time Offers).

About the Internship

Gain real-world business, marketing, and leadership experience this summer! As a Business Development Intern, you’ll get hands‑on experience in both growing a brand in the community and improving business operations inside the restaurant.

Requirements

• Juniors or Seniors (Business, Marketing, Management, or related majors)
• GPA 3.0+ preferred
• Student Organization Leader and or proven leadership track record
• Previous work experience (1–2 years)

Additional Information:

• Reports to: Talent Department
• Pay: $15.00/hour
• Travel Requirements:15% local driving
• Status/Classification:Full‑Time: 30-40 hours (Temporary classification: internship)

Dates (8 Week Program):

• ~ June 1 - July 24, 2027
• ~ Cannot miss first or last week of the program
• ~ 1 week off is allowed, but work will have to be made up another week

Work Days:

• Monday-Saturday: OPEN Availability
• Evening availability for special events
• Open 1 day a week (open at 5 AM)
• Close 1 night a week (until 11:30 PM)
• Work 25 hours a week minimum in restaurant Operations
