Role and Responsibilities

  1. Broad and deep existing relationships across the health care Provider landscape to immediately lever actionable business opportunities.
  2. Understand the nuance intricacies of the health system purchasing and contracting process.
  3. Ability to extend relationships within the C-suite and to other senior executives at health system and medical group organizations.
  4. A deep understanding of Population Health, Provider and Payer Systems, Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Part D, Medicare Supplement insurance sales.
  5. Comprehension of and fluency with eHealth’s portfolio of technology, content and service offerings to effectively communicate the company’s value proposition for both the health system and their senior patient populations.
  6. Be self-motivated and comfortable with sales quota retention, ongoing relationship management, and a can-do mentality required in an early-stage channel of the organization.
  7. Focus on industry and customer insights and insights-to-opportunities conversions.
  8. Be the industry thought leader and consultant to group and business level managers.
  9. Develop growth strategy and initiatives to drive double digits growth in the industry segment.
  10. Consolidate and manage the business performance reporting and dashboard of segment orders.
  11. In-depth industry knowledge and propose potential external partnerships and M&A.
  12. 10+ years relevant experience (>5 years in healthcare industry is preferred).
  13. 5+ years of executive-level health care engagement experience with a particular focus on small to mid-size hospitals and integrated delivery networks.
  14. 5+ years of a quantifiable, proven sales track record in the provider market.
  15. Experience in sales, business development, marketing, and custom application development.
  16. A deep understanding of Population Health, Public Health, and Provider Systems, Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Part D and Medicare Supplement insurance sales.
  17. Deep knowledge of and fluency in hospital/health system revenue, operations and reimbursement policies and trends.
  18. Travel required across the US: approximately 20% of time per month.
  19. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  20. Demonstrated leadership abilities to impact relationship activities with external partners and drive execution with internal resources.
  21. Dual focus on originating new partner relationships AND executing relationships to maximize revenue generation.
  22. Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees with health policy or operations focus are beneficial.
  23. Excellent communication and presentation skills and goal oriented.
