A leading consulting company is seeking a Business Development professional to build and maintain client relationships in the IT staffing sector. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience, showcasing excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a background in sales or marketing. This role involves conducting market research, developing strategies, and identifying new business opportunities to drive growth.
Role & responsibilities
- Seeking to accomplish set goals and objectives.
- Conduct market research and identify potential clients.
- Cultivating strong relationships with new clients while maintaining existing client relationships.
- Developing and implementing sales strategies, client service, and retention plans, and
analyzing sales data to inform or update marketing strategies.
- Assist with drafting business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other
materials or documents as required.
- Identify new business opportunities and partners.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels
of management, staff, and clients.
The ideal candidate must have:
Work history of 1-5 years of IT staffing experience and a track record of successfully developing sales funnels and account strategies.
Strong consulting and client relationship management skills.
Must be able to leverage existing relationships to establish new business opportunities, build client rapport, and establish long-lasting relationships and referrals.
Identifying and pursuing prospective clients, researching target markets, and maintaining strong business relationships with clients through ongoing communication.
The successful applicant needs to be motivated to increase sales, enhance the company's reputation, and look for new and creative ways to market our services. A background in sales or marketing is strongly desirable.
This role is responsible for identifying & creating new qualified sales opportunities through outbound call & email activities.
Generating potential leads via cold call, email, social media, websites, ads, researching prospect's website etc.
Follow up with prospects several times throughout the sales cycle to ensure needs are being met in order to seal the deal.
Provide customer service via emails, calls, chat.
Should be able to call, connect, engage, and interact with potential prospects.
Candidates with well conversant in multiple Languages will have an added advantage
Must have excellent communication skills, self-motivation, and a strong work ethic.
Proficiency in MS Office and excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills are required.
Preferred candidate profile
- Experience in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1 - 5 years relevant work experience in business development or a similar field preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Friendly and personable demeanor.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
