JOB SUMMARY

Enabled Energy, a leading consulting and general contractor firm, specializes in retrofitting advanced data centers across the United States and Canada. We are committed to delivering state-of-the-art infrastructure and services to meet our clients' evolving needs. As we expand, we seek an experienced Business Development Executive (BDE) who is focused on prospecting and acquiring new logos to join our Development team. The BDE will be responsible for driving new business and selling Enabled Energy’s standard offerings in the data center industry, focusing on securing new clients and building long-term partnerships. This is a full-time, exempt position with a base salary and eligibility for commission or bonus.

Travel Expectations: The BDE will pursue new business opportunities across the United States and Canada, with travel estimated to be up to 70% of the time.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor’s degree or at least seven years of experience in data centers and sales (ten years of relevant experience may be substituted for a degree).

· Proven success in acquiring new business and building relationships with key decision-makers in the data center industry.

· A strong track record of securing new logos, with previous experience in cold calling, prospecting, and generating leads from scratch.

· Active relationships with data center operators (a plus for initial outreach and converting new logos).

· Account management experience (with a proven ability to upsell and cross-sell multiple products/services to existing clients).

· Expertise in CRM management and pipeline management for tracking new opportunities and prospecting efforts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Leadership & Culture

· Demonstrate a sales-driven mindset with a focus on new logo acquisition, serving as a role model for building new client relationships and high performance.

· Champion prospecting and cold outreach techniques within the team to ensure a constant flow of new business opportunities.

Strategy & Planning

· Create and execute prospecting plans designed to generate new business and target untapped markets, focusing on new logo acquisition.

· Identify new market opportunities and adjust strategies to secure new clients and expand Enabled Energy’s reach.

Personal Sales Performance

· Manage your own sales pipeline with a focus on prospecting and high conversion rates for new business.

· Develop and deliver consultative sales presentations that showcase the ROI of our solutions, especially tailored for new customers.

Process & Performance Management

· Leverage and promote CRM tools to effectively track prospecting efforts and ensure data-driven decisions.

· Provide insights on prospecting strategies and sales process improvements to drive new client acquisition.

Culture & Organizational Alignment

· Embrace a service-centric approach while engaging with new clients, from the initial touchpoint to long-term partnership development.

· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure new business opportunities align with overall company goals and growth targets.

· Set and own personal goals for new logo acquisition, contributing to company-wide growth objectives.

This position is eligible for either in office or remote work.
