Job Title: Business Development Executive

Location: Remote from California (Candidate must be local to CA)

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the President to execute strategic and tactical sales plans that produce long-term profitable growth.
  • Research prospects, initiate contacts (phone calls, letters, emails), and build relationships with prospective clients through virtual and in-person meetings.
  • Write proposals; coordinate with field management to establish pricing aligned with financial objectives.
  • Make follow-up calls/emails, set appointments, and deliver formal sales presentations to prospective clients.
  • Develop sales presentation materials tailored to each account in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Log activities in the company's CRM system.
  • Use consultative sales strategies to overcome objections, negotiate, and close deals.
  • Coordinate with service staff to ensure client accounts are well-managed and transitioned smoothly to the service team.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business.
  • 3-5 years of staffing industry experience, with at least 2 years in staffing sales or business development.
  • Experience with consultative, solutions-based selling.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Problem-solving capabilities.
  • Effective sales presentation and persuasion skills.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and goal-oriented.
  • Comfortable working in a quota-driven, commission-based environment.
  • Understanding of financials and ability to analyze sales data.
  • Positive attitude, confidence, and trustworthiness.
  • Strong work ethic and sense of urgency.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
