Job Title: Business Development Executive
Location: Remote from California (Candidate must be local to CA)
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the President to execute strategic and tactical sales plans that produce long-term profitable growth.
- Research prospects, initiate contacts (phone calls, letters, emails), and build relationships with prospective clients through virtual and in-person meetings.
- Write proposals; coordinate with field management to establish pricing aligned with financial objectives.
- Make follow-up calls/emails, set appointments, and deliver formal sales presentations to prospective clients.
- Develop sales presentation materials tailored to each account in collaboration with internal teams.
- Log activities in the company's CRM system.
- Use consultative sales strategies to overcome objections, negotiate, and close deals.
- Coordinate with service staff to ensure client accounts are well-managed and transitioned smoothly to the service team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business.
- 3-5 years of staffing industry experience, with at least 2 years in staffing sales or business development.
- Experience with consultative, solutions-based selling.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong relationship management skills.
- Problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective sales presentation and persuasion skills.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and goal-oriented.
- Comfortable working in a quota-driven, commission-based environment.
- Understanding of financials and ability to analyze sales data.
- Positive attitude, confidence, and trustworthiness.
- Strong work ethic and sense of urgency.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
