Job summary

Infosys Limited seeks a Business Development Executive to drive new business by showing how Infosys’ technology can define tomorrow for clients. This role places you at the frontline of innovation, coordinating with teams across domains and guiding deals from discovery to closure.

You will travel to client sites as needed, participate in market development and competitive analysis, and approach opportunities with a strategic, empathetic mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required; 5+ years of work experience (or Master’s degree with 3+ years)
• Locally within commuting distance of New York/New Jersey or willing to relocate to the area; travel to project locations may be required
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; no immigration sponsorship available at this time
• Aptitude to rapidly learn and abstract ideas across industries and technologies
• Empathetic, strategic mindset with broad industry/business understanding
• Experience or desire to work in a global delivery environment

The Infosys Business Development Executive is a one-of-a-kind sales rep who calls on their passion for the future to show business how to leverage the technology that will define tomorrow, today. Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution (will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education) and 5+ years of work experience. Alternatively, a Master degree and 3+ years of work experience
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of New York/ New Jersey or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience independently leading portfolios and mining
• Experience providing market development, competitor analysis and opportunity analysis
• Ability to rally colleagues, prospects and clients around your ideas and deals

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements
