Job summary
SCN - Search Consulting Network is seeking a Business Development Hands-On Engineer – Speaker and Sound in Metro Detroit. The role focuses on driving new opportunities with U.S. automotive OEMs and providing technical and commercial leadership across global teams.
You will interpret specifications for speakers, amplifiers, and cabin sound tuning, and work closely with design counterparts in Japan to lead program proposals and responses to RFIs/RFQs.
Qualifications
- Deep OEM speaker knowledge and experience with premium automotive suppliers.
- Strong understanding of automotive loudspeaker design, vehicle packaging, amplifiers, and cabin sound tuning.
- Excellent communication skills to manage programs across a global team.
Responsibilities
- Identify new loudspeaker and premium sound opportunities with automotive sales teams.
- Serve as the primary technical and commercial contact for U.S. automakers.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to align project deliverables and product roadmaps.
- Act as the technical bridge between OEM customers and internal engineering.
