Position Summary
This rolewill play a pivotal role in identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities. This individual will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to develop tailored proposals, nurture client relationships, and position the agency as a trusted partner in the healthcare communications space.
This is a remote role, ideally suited for someone with a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical marketing landscape and a proven ability to build and convert a pipeline of qualified leads.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
Identify and qualify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and outreach. Build a robust pipeline of pharma and biotech prospects aligned with the agency’s capabilities and growth strategy.
Client Engagement & Relationship Building:
Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers (e.g., brand managers, medical affairs leads, marketing directors) at target companies. Understand their business challenges and position the agency’s services as solutions.
Proposal Development & Pitching:
Lead the development of customized proposals, RFP responses, and pitch presentations. Collaborate with internal teams (strategy, medical, creative, digital) to ensure alignment with client needs and expectations.
Strategic Planning:
Contribute to the agency’s business development strategy by identifying market trends, competitive insights, and emerging opportunities in the healthcare communications space.
Collaboration & Reporting:
Work closely with leadership to set revenue targets, track progress, and report on KPIs. Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in CRM tools.
