Ambarella seeks a Sr. Sales-Business Development Manager/Director to drive design wins and revenue growth across strategic AIoT accounts from its Santa Clara headquarters.

You will own key account plans, engage executives and engineering teams, and manage complex ecosystems from initial contact through design win and fulfillment. The ideal candidate has 7–12+ years in semiconductor sales, knowledge of AIoT and edge AI, and strong negotiation and forecasting skills.

AI Vision Processors For Edge ApplicationsOur solutions make cameras smarter by extracting valuable data from high-resolution video streams.Job DescriptionPosition Overview:Ambarella is seeking an experienced Sr. Sales-Business Development Manager/Director to drive design wins and revenue growth across strategic AIoT accounts and targeted markets. Based in the Bay Area, this role will develop and execute account and business development strategies for Ambarella’s differentiated AI & vision SoC platform.The candidate will own key account plans, identify and pursue new opportunities, and manage complex customer ecosystems from initial engagement through design win, commercial negotiation, and fulfillment. The role requires direct engagement with customer executives, engineering teams, and purchasing decision makers, along with disciplined forecasting and market reporting.The ideal candidate brings deep semiconductor Sales experience, knowledge of complex SoC, and the ability to operate effectively in an entrepreneurial, global go-to-market environment.Key responsibilities:Identify opportunities and drive design wins, maximizing sales revenue from specific target accounts.Drive design wins at key AIoT customers.Penetrate new customers in target markets.Manage complex design and fulfillment ecosystems; including customer networks, ODM/CMs and Ambarella partners.Leverage available resources – both internal and external – to offer competitive solutions to customers. Know and advocate for customers.Manage high volume RFQs, negotiating pricing and contracts.Maintain sales forecasting, deliver bi-weekly market and sales reports. Collect customer data points and align with international Sales colleagues.Collaborate with Applications, Marketing, Ecosystem, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Operations, departments to help project management at key customers.Education and Experience Requirement:BA minimum. BSEE preferred.7 to 12+ years of semiconductor sales management including managing/developing strategic account relationships.Experience selling complex SoC/processor solutions with significant systems and software elements. Knowledge of AI technologies and video/imaging is a strong benefit.Experience within Edge AI, AI infrastructure, intelligent video, embedded computing, robotics, industrial automation, automotive, or IoT.Proven track record navigating large, complex customer organizations; gaining access to key executives, engineering, and purchasing decision makers.Excellent networking capabilities including internal and external customers.Strong commercial negotiation, strategic planning, and analytical skills.Excellent executive communication and presentation skills.Attend work in Santa Clara Headquarters 3+ days per week.Ability to travel domestically 20-30% and possible international travel.Ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment and work collaboratively as part of a go-to-market team.Pay range and compensation package:The base salary range is $184,000 - $260,000. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
