Cuhaci & Peterson Architects, Engineers & Planners, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Business Development Coordinator to support growth across regions.

You will collect client information, assist BD team with schedules, travel, events, and CRM data entry to ensure accurate records and informed decision making. The role requires a bachelor's degree in business or related field and 5–7 years of BD or sales experience in the A/E/C industry.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, administrative, communications, public relations, marketing, or related discipline.
  • 5–7 years of relevant Business Development or Sales experience within the A/E/C industry.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to multiple states with 2–4 night stays for industry events (30% minimum).
  • Manage and maintain BD team schedules; assist with calendars, credit cards, expense reports and travel arrangements.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings and events.
  • Coordinate conference activities including registration, scheduling, lodging, and travel for shows.
  • Gather relevant information for BD staff.
  • Coordinate post-show reviews and entry of contact data into Cosential CRM.
  • Track and store trade show inventory and generate reports.
  • CRM data cleanup and deduplication tasks.
  • Collaborate with Sales Force on development of business/capture plans.
  • Acquire knowledge about the organization and apply it day-to-day.

Description

The Business Development Coordinator contributes to the growth and development of the firm. The role has responsibility to ensure that collection of information about clients is always accurate.

Requirements

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a business, administrative, communication, public relations, marketing, or other related discipline, combined with 5-7 years of relevant experience in Business Development or Sales within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (A/E/C) industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel (multiple states) with multiple night stays (2-4 days) as required for attending industry events (30% minimum).
  • Manage and maintain BD team schedules; assist with calendars, credit cards, expense reports and travel arrangements for the BD department.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings and events.
  • Conference coordination/facilitation including registration, scheduling, shipping, lodging, travel, maintenance and updates for current conference material, summary documentation, and processes.
  • Gather relevant information for BD staff accordingly.
  • Coordinate/facilitate post-show review: summary documentation, expense summaries regarding contacts/opportunities and contacts made/received during the show, and entry of relevant contact data into Cosential (CRM) as needed.
  • Track, retrieve, review, distribute, and store trade show booth inventory and promotional items; generate memos for selection, ordering, inventory tracking, and reports of use.
  • Conduct data entry tasks related to CRM cleanup: key conversion of duplicative contacts, information, contacts, and companies as needed.
  • Coordinate with Sales Force team members and advise on development of business/capture plans for the company.
  • Acquire knowledge about the organization and implement such knowledge in day-to-day duty.

Physical Demands

Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods, lift up to 30 lbs, handle stressful situations, multitask, and work under time constraints. Long hours may be required. Work Environment

Work is conducted in a normal office environment. Must handle stressful situations, multitask, and meet schedules and budgets. A 40‑hour work week and overtime may be required outside core hours.
