A well-known law firm is seeking a Business Development Coordinator to aid in the marketing and business development efforts for their litigation department. The role involves proposal support, event coordination, and collaborating with teams to enhance firm visibility and outreach. The ideal candidate will bring at least one year of experience in marketing or business development, showcasing their ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
The Marketing Department of Arnold & Porter has an opening for a Business Development Coordinator in the New York or Washington, DC office. The Coordinator is responsible for supporting the business development activities for the Litigation Department, including the White Collar, Complex Litigation, Securities Enforcement & Litigation, and Appellate & Supreme Court practice groups. A significant amount of time will be dedicated to assisting with pitches, proposals, submissions for legal publications, and coordinating and assisting with webinars, sponsorships, and conferences. The role may also be called on to support other practices, industry, or working groups as needed.
This position will report to the Business Development Director and work closely with lawyers, business development managers, and other firm staff to coordinate practice group and individual attorney business development and marketing efforts. A successful candidate will be a self-starter, detailed oriented, with a strong work ethic, dedicated to providing the highest level of service to our attorneys, clients, marketing department, and others across the firm. While the Coordinator will have plenty of individual responsibilities, they work as part of a team that supports each other as needed on all marketing and business development projects.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $60,000 to $75,000. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

As a nonexempt position, this position is eligible for overtime.
The firm may provide a discretionary bonus annually.
