Job summary

BioTalent is seeking a Business Development leader in San Francisco to identify and close high-value biologics/CDMO development and manufacturing deals. You will leverage deep industry knowledge, an expansive West Coast network, and executive presence to build trusted partnerships from scientists to the C-suite.

The role emphasizes results in hunting, originating, and closing deals with sophisticated customers.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in a business development role in life sciences.
• Proven success hunting, originating and closing complex biologics/CDMO deals.
• Deep understanding of biologics, clinical-to-commercial manufacturing and drug product.
• Strong West Coast biotech/pharma relationships and executive presence from scientists to the C-suite.
• 1+ years of progressive CDMO/biopharma BD experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue high-value biologics/CDMO development and manufacturing deals.
• Build and manage relationships from scientific stakeholders to the C-suite.
• Close complex deals with clear value propositions and negotiated terms.

I am looking to connect with a Business Development leader who brings:

• At least 1 Year in a Business Development role in Life Sciences Industry
• Proven success hunting, originating and closing complex, high-value biologics/CDMO development and manufacturing deals
• Deep understanding of biologics, clinical-to-commercial manufacturing and Drug Product, with the technical credibility to sell sophisticated solutions
• Strong West Coast biotech/pharma relationships and the executive presence to build trusted partnerships from scientific stakeholders through the C-suite
• 1+ years of progressive CDMO/Biopharma Business Development experience, ideally with a strong track record of new-logo and territory growth
