Job summary

CJ 4DPLEX America is seeking a highly motivated Associate, Business Development to support the continued growth of our premium cinema formats, SCREENX and 4DX, across the U.S. domestic exhibition market.

This role partners with the Business Development team and cross-functional departments to identify new business opportunities, develop and track proposals, analyze market and box office performance, coordinate projects, and support relationships with partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree as listed above.
• 1-2 years of relevant professional experience in business development, sales, entertainment, analytics, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with box office, market, and performance data.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with ESRI/ArcGIS or similar mapping platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Market mapping & territory analysis using ESRI tools.
• Proposal development & tracking; monitor deal status and key terms.
• Client & market research on prospective partners and locations.
• Box office, attendance, pricing, and theatre performance analysis.
• Deal documentation: proposals, term sheets, agreements, approvals.
• Internal reporting: pipelines, performance analyses for leadership.
• Coordinate with Project Management, Operations, Finance, Marketing, Content to move opportunities to execution.
• Support trade shows, conferences, meetings, and event logistics.
• Maintain exhibitor relationships with timely communication and follow-up.
• BD administration: databases, schedules, documents, and presentations.
