Position Summary

Perfect Care Inc. is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Business Development Associate to expand our referral network and strengthen community partnerships. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining referral sources through strategic outreach, facility visits, networking, marketing initiatives, and ongoing relationship management.

The ideal candidate is an outgoing professional with excellent communication skills, a passion for healthcare and community services, and the ability to build strong relationships with referral partners, healthcare professionals, community organizations, and prospective clients.

The primary focus of this role is to increase referrals, enhance community presence, and support the growth of Perfect Care Inc.'s service lines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Business Development & Referral Growth
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase referrals and business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with referral sources including hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, case managers, social workers, discharge planners, physicians, behavioral health providers, and community agencies.
  • Conduct in-person visits to healthcare facilities, community organizations, and professional offices.
  • Identify new referral opportunities and establish productive partnerships.
  • Track referral activities and maintain accurate records of outreach efforts.
Community Outreach & Relationship Building
  • Represent Perfect Care Inc. at networking events, community meetings, healthcare fairs, and industry functions.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders throughout the healthcare and human services community.
  • Serve as a liaison between referral sources and internal departments.
  • Maintain regular follow-up communication with existing and prospective referral partners.
  • Promote awareness of Perfect Care Inc.'s services and programs.
Marketing & Brand Promotion
  • Collaborate with leadership to execute marketing initiatives and campaigns.
  • Distribute marketing materials and educational resources to community partners.
  • Assist with creating outreach strategies that support business growth.
  • Provide feedback regarding market trends, competitor activities, and community needs.
  • Support social media and community engagement efforts as needed.
Reporting & Documentation
  • Maintain a weekly outreach and referral activity log.
  • Track facility visits, phone calls, meetings, and networking activities.
  • Prepare weekly reports outlining referral pipeline activity and business development progress.
  • Monitor referral trends and provide recommendations for growth opportunities.
Qualifications
Required
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales, marketing, healthcare outreach, customer relations, or business development.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM/database systems.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout assigned service areas.
Preferred
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Communications, or related field.
  • Experience in healthcare, home care, behavioral health, case management, or human services.
  • Existing professional network within healthcare or community service organizations.

  • Submit accurate and timely activity and pipeline reports.
  • Represent Perfect Care Inc. professionally within the community.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent travel within service areas.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and drive for extended periods.
  • Ability to attend meetings, events, and facility visits as needed.
Compensation

Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. This is a part-time position averaging approximately 25 hours per week. Performance-based incentives may be available based on referral growth and business development achievements.
