Addison Group is recruiting a Business Developer to drive growth in Fresno, CA, focusing on landscaping services. This full-time role features a defined territory, a base salary plus commissions, and uncapped upside with a clear path to autonomy as goals are exceeded.

The right candidate will have a proven B2B sales track record, strong prospecting skills, and the ability to manage complex deals from prospecting to close. Prior landscaping knowledge is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of B2B outside sales with a track record of surpassing $1M+ annual sales quotas.
• Experience managing a large territory and multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Salesforce or comparable CRM and consistent pipeline logging.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new commercial accounts through consultative, solution-based selling techniques.
• Manage full sales cycle — prospecting, presentations, site visits, proposals, negotiations, and close.
• Conduct heavy phone prospecting, in-person sales presentations, and virtual demonstrations.
• Build and maintain trust-based relationships with key decision makers and influencers across the territory.
• Accurately forecast sales deliverables, manage pipeline activity, and track KPIs in Salesforce CRM.
• Identify client needs and develop customized service proposals demonstrating clear value.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, and marketing teams to respond to bids and meet sales targets.
• Hit specific daily activity benchmarks and close business consistently.
• Cultivate existing client relationships and identify opportunities to expand accounts.

Our client is a nationally recognized commercial services company with a strong presence across California. They are seeking a driven, consultative Business Developer to grow their market position, build lasting client relationships, and close commercial contracts across a defined territory. This is a full-cycle outside sales role — from prospecting to close — with uncapped commission potential and a clear path to increased autonomy as you exceed your goals.

The ideal candidate is a proven B2B seller who knows how to find pain, build trust with decision makers, and close deals. Industry background in landscaping is a plus but not required — if you can sell, they can teach the rest.

Requirements:

• Industry background in distribution, logistics, facilities management, property management, construction, Cintas or similar service industries strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage a large territory and multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in Salesforce or comparable CRM — consistent pipeline logging required
• Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
• Highly competitive, self-motivated, and results-driven
• Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
• Bachelor's degree preferred, not required
• Must disclose any active non-competes at time of submission
