What You'll Do

• Generate new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, in-person prospecting, and scheduled client meetings.
• Build relationships with business owners, hiring leaders, and other key decision-makers.
• Qualify prospective clients by identifying hiring needs, budgets, timelines, and business priorities.
• Conduct consultative discovery conversations and recommend appropriate staffing solutions.
• Maintain a consistent pipeline of high-potential prospects and new business opportunities.
• Manage a defined local territory and plan daily field activity to maximize client contact.
• Document sales activity, follow-up actions, and pipeline progress in the CRM.
• Partner closely with internal recruiting and staffing teams to ensure smooth handoff and fulfillment of new client needs.
• Grow existing relationships by identifying additional hiring needs and cross-selling available services.
• Participate in local networking and business-development activities as appropriate.
• Stay informed on labor-market trends and use market insights to add value during client conversations.

What You'll Bring

• At least one year of B2B sales, outside sales, business development, or related client-facing experience.
• Experience with prospecting, cold calling, and developing new client relationships.
• Confidence conducting face-to-face sales conversations with business decision-makers.
• Strong consultative selling skills, including active listening, discovery questioning, and objection handling.
• Ability to independently manage a sales territory and pipeline.
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-through.
• Comfort working in a high-activity, goal-driven sales environment.
• Experience documenting sales activity and next steps in a CRM or sales tracking system.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory.
• Authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

What Sets You Apart

• Previous staffing, recruiting, or workforce-solutions sales experience.
• Proven success generating new clients through outbound business development.
• Experience selling business services, payroll, logistics, industrial services, facilities, or other consultative B2B solutions.
• Strong track record of meeting activity, appointment, and new-business goals.
• Experience building a territory from prospect identification through close.
• Active involvement in local chambers, professional organizations, or business networking groups.

Additional Information

This is a field-focused position requiring frequent local travel throughout the Conroe and surrounding market. Candidates should be comfortable working independently in the field, visiting businesses, attending appointments, and managing a structured daily sales plan.
